Ether ("the app") is a personal tarot and astrology reading service operated by Attereon. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Ether. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
Sign-in uses Attereon Accounts, the shared account system for Attereon apps — one account signs you in to Ether and other Attereon services. You agree to provide accurate account information, to safeguard your credentials, and you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Ether is free to use. There are no paid plans and no billing. AI-generated readings require a Google AI API key that you supply yourself in Settings; your use of that key is between you and Google, subject to Google's own terms, and any limits or charges Google applies to your key are your responsibility.
Ether's readings — tarot interpretations, astrological outlooks, and AI-generated syntheses — are provided for personal reflection and entertainment only. They are not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and they are not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional. Do not rely on a reading to make decisions about your health, mental health, money, relationships, or legal matters. If you need advice in those areas, consult a licensed professional.
Daily readings are generated by an AI model (Google Gemini). AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent, and may occasionally produce content that reads as confident but is simply wrong. Treat readings as a creative prompt for your own reflection, not as fact.
You retain full ownership of the content you create in Ether — journal notes, intentions, goals, and profile details. You grant Attereon a limited license to store and process your content solely to operate the service, including generating your readings. We make no other claim to your content. How your data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
You agree not to use Ether to store or distribute illegal content, to harass or abuse others, to scrape or programmatically harvest the service, to resell access, or to circumvent security measures.
AI readings are processed by Google's Gemini API subject to Google's terms of service. Authentication is provided by Attereon Accounts.
You may stop using Ether at any time and can request deletion of your Ether data by emailing the address below. Attereon may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Ether is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that readings will be accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that your data will never be lost — export or copy anything important to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attereon's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amounts you paid to Attereon in the 12 months preceding the claim (Ether being free, that amount is zero unless you paid for another applicable service).
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Ether at any time. We may also update these terms from time to time and will provide notice of material changes through the app or website. Continued use of Ether after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
